By : Siti Khumaiyah (11220006)

Business is one of the way to meet human needs. It means that Allah Almighty has given direction to the servants - to do his business. In Islam there are rules and ethics of doing business. We have already given an example of the real by the Prophet SAW.bagaimana way he does business with trade. In fact it has been done from small when invited his uncle Abu Talib to trade to Sham. And wherein when a wealthy merchant woman namely Siti Khadijah ra trust him to sell his wares to the market then, the Prophet was doing it with honesty and sincerity.
In view of Islam there are rules or ethics that must be possessed by any person who want to do business especially as he is a believer. A believer in the business not to take action - action which is contrary to law. Prophet SAW.banyak provide guidance regarding business ethics, among which are: First, that the essential principle in business is honesty. In Islamic doctrine, honesty is a fundamental requirement in the business activities. Rasulullah very intense advocate honesty in business activity. In this level, he said: "It is wrong to sell the merchandise of a Muslim who has disgrace, but he describes her shame" (Reported by al-Quzwani). Second, in Islam is not only pursue profits alone (profit oriented) but, also must pay attention to the attitude ta'awun (please - help) among us as the social implications of business. Third, do not commit perjury. Prophet Muhammad was very intense prohibits businesses perjured himself in business transactions. In a hadith narrated by Bukhari, the Prophet said, "By making a false oath, the stuff is sold, but the result is not a blessing". In a hadith narrated by Abu Dhar, the Messenger of Allah threatened with a painful doom to those who swear falsely in the business, and God will not memperdulikannya later on the Day of Judgment (Muslim). Fourth, the business is done voluntarily, without coercion. Word of God, "O ye who believe, do not eat each other neighbor's property by way of a false, except with the prevailing business with consensual among you" (Qur'an 4: 29). Fifth, that the business is carried net of elements of usury. Word of God, "O ye who believe, leave the remains of usury, if ye have faith (Surah al-Baqarah :: 278) and many more instructions or business ethics in Islam. All mentioned above - should be done so that what we do receive his blessing.
In addition we are dealing with another human being ( hablum minannas ) we also have a relationship with the Creator ( hablum minallah ) , so that in every action we feel someone is watching that Allah SWT . This belief must be an integral part of every Muslim in the business . This is because Islam is not merely in the business - the eyes of the world but the orientation must have a clear vision of the afterlife . With such a frame of mind that the question of ethics in business a key highlight in Islamic economics . In Islamic economics , business and ethics should not be seen as two opposites because , business is a symbol of worldly affairs is also considered an integral part of the things that are investing afterlife . That is, if oreientasi business and investment efforts Hereafter ( intended as a totality of worship and obedience to Allah ) , then the business itself should be in line with the rules of morality which is based on the belief in the afterlife . Even in Islam , understanding the business itself is not limited to the affairs of the world , but it also covers all the activities we were commercialized in the world ( intended as worship ) for profit or reward hereafter .
If it were the Muslims to know and understand what needs to be there on a private businessman in accordance with existing dustur ( Al - Quran and Al - Hadith ) , then it will undoubtedly create a harmonious atmosphere and will ukhuwwah Islamiyah exists between us . And only to Him all matters are returned
